When you place an order with THE CAST IRON BATH COMPANY in our showrooms, via our telesales department or on our website, the information that we collect and store relating to you is primarily used to enable us to provide our products and services to you.

How might we share your data?

We will never sell your details to other companies so that they can market to you.

Your name, address and contact details may be shared with our suppliers and delivery contractors to ensure that we can fulfil our contractual arrangement with you to deliver the products and services you purchase from us.

Suppliers who deliver to you directly will be passed your full contact details, that you provide us, to allow them to fulfil this requirement. In some cases, where they are responsible for the product guarantee, this information may be stored for the full period of the guarantee to allow them to fulfil this.

If you provide information to us about any person other than yourself (e.g. to arrange for delivery of the product), you must ensure that the third party has understood how their information will be used and you must ensure that they have given their permission for you to share their information.

Finance Applications: If you wish to enter into a finance agreement to purchase product, we will facilitate this for you by passing your information to the finance providers with whom we have agreed arrangements in place (Close Brothers Finance). Close Brothers is a third party data controller and is therefore responsible for any information that you provide to them.  Details of the privacy policy are available directly from Close Brothers.

Once the finance company have accepted your application for finance, THE CAST IRON BATH COMPANY only keep records in relation to loan deposit,  terms and the value of the finance requested.

In certain circumstances, we may transfer your personal information to our suppliers or service providers based outside of the EEA for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy. These countries may not have similar data protection laws to the UK. By submitting your personal data, you’re agreeing to this transfer, storing and processing.
