Each Burlington Thermostatic Valve comes with a manufacturer's 10 Year Guarantee. Within the valve there is an automatic adjuster which maintains temperature by adjusting the flow of each supply. This is useful in guarding against the possibility of scalding. If, for example, someone flushes a WC whilst you are showering the flow of hot water will immediately be adjusted to compensate for the reduced cold water flow.
